Dr. Gökhan Özkoçak graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 2014. He started his residency training in the Department of Physical Medicine and

Rehabilitation at Uludağ University and completed it in 2019 at the Health Sciences University Istanbul Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital.

In 2019, he was appointed to Gümüşhane State Hospital for his mandatory service obligation. After completing this service, Dr. Özkoçak began his academic career at Istanbul Aydın University in 2021. Between 2021-2022, he worked at Medicana Bahçelievler Hospital, and from 2022 to 2024, he continued his professional practice at Acıbadem Bakırköy Hospital.

His areas of interest include Stroke, Spinal Cord Injuries, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Cerebral Palsy, Fibromyalgia, Postural Disorders, Cervical and Lumbar Herniated Discs, Joint Osteoarthritis, Rheumatic Diseases, and Musculoskeletal Pain.

He has participated in numerous national and international congresses focused on ultrasound-guided stem cell, exosome, PRP, and botox injections, neural therapy, mesotherapy, ozone therapy, and rehabilitation applications.

In 2024, Dr. Özkoçak established the Physical Therapy and Robotic Rehabilitation Center at Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital, where he continues his work in Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center.
