Specialist Clinical Psychologist Sümeyra Savaş Akçiçek graduated from Üsküdar University, Department of Psychology, in 2018. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Istanbul Kent University in 2021.

Between 2020 and 2021, she served as a psychologist at the Bahçelievler Special Education and Rehabilitation Center. She began her tenure as a Specialist Clinical Psychologist at Koşuyolu Medipol Hospital in November 2021 and has been continuing her professional practice at Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital since October 2024.

In her clinical practice, she utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. She has also received specialized training in Trauma and Grief Counseling, Child Assessment Tests, Analysis of Children’s Drawings, Interview Techniques and Adjustment/Behavioral Issues in Children, the MMPI Personality Test, the MOXO Attention Test, and Neuropsychological Test Evaluation.

Her primary areas of interest include depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, illness anxiety disorder, conversion disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anger management, stress, and motivation.

As of October 2024, she serves as a Neuropsychometric Test Practitioner at the Medipol University Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PARMER). In this role, she provides personalized psychotherapy support tailored to the psychiatric conditions that often accompany Parkinson’s disease.
