On February 15th, 2019, a collaboration between Medipol Azerbaijan Representation, Istanbul Medipol University PARMER, and Medera Hospital in Azerbaijan, an event entitled “Parkinson’s and Other Movement Disorders: Diagnosis, Treatments, and Scientific Approaches” was held at the Baku Hyatt Regency Hotel. The event brought together a total of 180 participants, including neurosurgeons, neurologists, and physiotherapists. The session was chaired by neurosurgeon Prof. Dr. Sabir Etibarlı, and featured speeches by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Zırh, Prof. Dr. Okan Doğu, and Specialist Dr. Başak Bolluk. The opening speech was delivered by Uygar Üstün, the Corporate Marketing and International Patient Services Coordinator at Medipol Mega University Hospital. The event, which also featured a speech by Medera Hospital Chief Physician Dr. İbrahim Aliyev, concluded with a thank-you plaque presented by Uygar Üstün to the neurosurgeon Prof. Dr. Sabir Etibarlı.
