Specialist. Dr. Özgün Köksal graduated from Mersin University Faculty of Medicine in 2015 as a Medical Doctor.  She completed her specialty training in the Department of Neurology at Ege University in 2019.  She started her compulsory service in Sivas State Hospital in 2019, and completed it in 2022.

Specialized in Parkinson’s and other Movement Disorder Diseases, Dr.  Özgün Köksal received training in EEG and EMG, Botulinum Toxin applications, Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Neurootology and Neuroophthalmology.

As of November 2022, Istanbul Medipol University Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PARMER) creates the treatment plans of the patients and provides the most appropriate personalized medical follow-up and treatment support for each patient.
