PARMER AND GUINNESS WORLD RECORD

On World Parkinson’s Day in 2018, DBS Patients Association and Medipol Health and Education Group collaborated to bring together 329 patients who had undergone Deep Brain Stimulation surgeries performed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali ZIRH from various institutions worldwide. This gathering resulted in Turkey breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest meeting of DBS patients in the field of healthcare. Building on the success of this global patient meeting, PARMER, established within Medipol Health and Education Group, has become the leading institution in surgical and DBS treatments for movement disorders not only in our country but also internationally. In addition to being the first organization that comes to mind in these fields, PARMER has also gained the title of an International Center of Excellence in the planning of diagnosis and treatment for these patients.
